Another Letter in the Times!

I am delighted to have yet another of my letters published in the Times! It can be seen below:
Sir, Derek Barlow claims that it is offensive to refer to God as a “thing” (letter, May 17). The Gospel of Luke begs to differ. In Luke i: 35 , the angel Gabriel tells Mary: “. . . that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God”. Elijah Zachary Granet San Diego, California
