A Letter to the Editor in the Times!

I was delighted to see a letter of mine in the pages of The Times. It can be seen below:
Sir, As a 23-year-old Radio 4 devotee, I deplore the changes the BBC is making to the station. It is offensive and untrue to suggest that younger listeners do not appreciate the value of excellent journalism; there are many outlets that provide trivial focus on millennial issues but vanishingly few that can provide intellectual rigour and serious analysis. It is astonishing that the BBC is so eager to throw away its enormous competitive advantage in the name of pursuing a non-existent stereotype. Elijah Zachary Granet San Diego, California
